Meiborg and Morales Capital Launch M2 Global Logistics

A new partnership brings international trade expertise together with asset-based trucking and warehousing, starting with an 830,000 square foot campus in Houston.

For most of the last four decades, the Meiborg story has been a domestic one. One truck in 1981. Then ten. Then a fleet of more than 550 moving freight across the Midwest, the Southeast, and Texas, backed by millions of square feet of warehousing.

Today, that story gets a new chapter.

Meiborg and Morales Capital have announced a strategic partnership to launch M2 Global Logistics, a third-party logistics brand built to serve customers whose supply chains no longer stop at the border.

Why This Partnership Works

Most logistics providers are strong in one direction. They either own the assets or they understand international trade. Very few do both well.

Meiborg brings the assets. A nationwide fleet, warehousing across Illinois and Texas, and the operational discipline that comes from running your own trucks for 45 years.

Morales Capital brings the global side. Its portfolio includes Global Alternative Logistics Solutions, Mexcor International, and Morales Companies, with deep expertise in international trade, customs, beverage distribution, and complex freight routing.

Put those together and you get something that is genuinely difficult to build from scratch: a single provider who can handle a container from an overseas port through customs, into a warehouse, onto a truck, and out to a final destination without handing the freight off to four different vendors along the way.

What M2 Global Logistics Offers

End-to-end global reach. Domestic fleet transport and warehousing united with international trade, customs, and complex freight routing under one roof.

Asset-backed scale. High-capacity fleet operations combined with warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution services. Real trucks and real buildings, not a brokerage arrangement.

Custom supply chain execution. Technology-driven solutions designed around how a business actually operates, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Starting With Houston

M2 Global Logistics launches with a significant first move: the acquisition of an 830,000 square foot industrial campus sitting on 27 acres near Downtown Houston.

The location matters. Houston is the highest volume waterborne port in the United States, and this campus sits at the crossroads of Texas commerce, with access to major intermodal hubs, freight corridors, and port connections. For importers, manufacturers, and distributors moving freight through the Gulf Coast, that proximity translates directly into fewer miles, faster turns, and lower cost.

The campus will serve as the cornerstone of M2 Global Logistics’ expansion, with additional markets to follow.

The Team Behind It

M2 Global Logistics is led by Zach Meiborg, Nick Gibbons, and James Cooper, alongside leadership from Morales Capital, bringing together decades of experience across transportation, warehousing, and international trade.

What Comes Next

The Houston campus comes online in the months ahead. Beyond that, M2 Global Logistics is built for expansion, with the asset base and the trade expertise to move into new markets as customer demand grows.

For businesses that have outgrown a regional logistics setup, or that are tired of coordinating between a trucking company, a warehouse, a customs broker, and a freight forwarder who all point at each other when something goes wrong, this is what the alternative looks like.
